How to Check Your IP Address with NordVPN

Have you ever wanted to know what your IP address is? If so, you’ve come to the right place.

NordVPN is a virtual private network (VPN) service that allows you to check the IP address of any computer, device, or server you connect to. It also provides you with a free VPN account that you can use to protect your personal data when online. Step One: Install and Setup NordVPN Client

First, you’ll need to download and install the NordVPN app from the iOS App Store or the Google Play Store. To do this, navigate your phone’s app store or search for the app in the app store and click on the download button to install the app.

Once installed, open the app and click on the gear icon in the upper left corner to select your country and region. In the next screen, you’ll need to enter your email address and click on the blue button to create a free account. You’ll then be taken to your dashboard where you can see all of your account information including a welcome email from NordVPN. In case you don’t see an email, you can check your spam filters or contact customer support if you’ve forgotten your password.

Step Two: Connect to the VPN Server

To use NordVPN, you’ll first need to connect to a VPN server. From your smartphone’s app, click on the gear icon in the upper left corner and select the “Connect” tab. You’ll see a list of all the VPN servers located in the United States. Choose the server closest to you and click on the connect button.

You’ll then see a list of all the devices (computers, tablets, and mobile phones) that are connected to that particular VPN server. Your device will appear in the list with a yellow button next to it to indicate that it’s connected to the VPN. If you’ve previously connected your device to the same VPN server and it continues to show up in the list, just click on the button to reconnect.

If you’re still unable to connect to the VPN server after trying for several minutes, there could be a problem. You can check your IP address with NordVPN but it might take a while to get it. If you’re impatient, you can use a VPN client on your computer or device to check your IP address in a more expeditious manner.

Step Three: Check Your IP Address With NordVPN

Now that you’re connected to the VPN server, you can check your IP address. From your dashboard, click on Settings in the upper left corner and then select the “Check My IP” option. Your IP address will then be displayed along with a map indicating your location. In case you’re wondering, your IP address can be used to determine the location of your computer or device, as well as the location of your ISP (Internet Service Provider).

You can use two methods to check your IP address with NordVPN. The first is to enter the URL of a website that you visit in your web browser. The second is to use the app and enter the IP address of a website, such as Google or Twitter, that you visit.

As you can see from the screenshot below, using the Google Search engine to check your IP address is quite simple. Just type in the name of the website you’re trying to visit and then click on the blue button that says “Start Overlay.”

You’ll then be presented with a map and the IP address, as well as specific information about this particular IP address, such as the name of the ISP (Internet Service Provider) that owns it. You can also click on the profile photo of the person who owns the IP address to learn more about them. In case you’re wondering, you can use the IP address of any website you visit to look up the owners of that particular IP address.
