How to Open a VPN Connection on Asus RT-AC56U

With a VPN connection, you can allow access from anywhere, so even when you’re outside of Italy, you’ll still be able to see pinterest.com. That’s because your VPN provider will have granted you access, even though you’re outside of Italy. They might do that if they realize that you’re abroad, but need to access a site that is restricted outside of your country. So, in other words, they allow geo-blocking. How To Set Up A VPN On Your Asus

Alright, now that you have a clear understanding of why you need a VPN, it’s time to setup your VPN. First, you’ll need to download the VPN app from your smartphone’s app store. And you’ll need to make sure that you have a VPN app on both your mobile device and your laptop. Let’s look at how to set up a VPN on your Asus desktop first.

To do that, you’ll need to visit the Asus website. Once you’re there, you’ll see a tab on the left-hand side that says Downloads. Click that, and on the next page, you’ll see a list of all the supported operating systems. Look for your operating system, and download the appropriate version. Once you have the OS downloaded, it’s time to move on to the next step.

Now, once you have both your operating system and the VPN app downloaded, it’s time to follow the on-screen instructions. On the desktop, you’ll see a link that says VPN. How To Set Up A VPN On Your Android Device

To do that, you’ll need to open the app, and then click the button that says Connect to VPN. You’ll see a list of all the servers, near you. If you want to connect to a specific server, you can type its name into the search bar, and it will appear at the top of the list. Then, you can click the connect button to connect to that server.

Once you have connected to the VPN server, you’ll see a prompt at the top of the screen that shows you the server’s address, as seen in the image below. Then, you can enter the username and password that was provided to you by your VPN provider. And you’re done! You can now access any site or service that you want, even if you are outside of your country.

Using A VPN To Access Blocked Sites While Abroad

Note: If you’re using Chrome, you’ll need to right-click on the website’s address and select Open in incognito window. That way, Google Chrome won’t cache the website’s contents, and you’ll get the full experience.

When you access a website that is restricted to your country, you’ll see this message:
