How to Hide Your IP and VPN?

When you use public Wi-Fi hotspots at coffee shops, airports or hotels, you connect to malicious networks that can steal your personal data. When you use public computers at libraries, schools or universities, you expose yourself to potential hacking. And, when you use public cell phones in bars, restaurants or other public places, you put yourself at risk of being spied on by government agents.

So how can you protect your internet connection and your personal data when using public Wi-Fi? You can use a virtual private network (VPN) to secretly access the internet from anywhere. But, since VPNs encrypt your internet connection, you need to know how to properly setup and use one to ensure that your internet activity remains private. In this blog post, we will discuss the various methods you can use to hide your IP, encrypt your internet traffic, and secure your personal data when using public Wi-Fi.

Setup Your Personal VPN Server

Before you start using a VPN, you will need to set one up at your own personal computer (PC). VPNs are typically available as either a free or a paid version, so you can set up either type. In this guide, we will discuss how to set up the free version so you can begin using a VPN without risking your personal data.

To begin, search for “free VPN” in your favorite search engine and download the first result. You will then need to download and install the VPN software on your PC. Most free VPNs will run on Windows XP or newer. However, if you are using an older operating system, you can still use NordVPN, which is a popular free VPN that supports older versions of Windows. Once installed, you will need to log in with your email address and password to access the VPN’s interface, which will be displayed as a gray bar at the top of your screen. Figure 1 shows the NordVPN interface. You can then click the link to launch the VPN. You will need to confirm your email address and set a password for the account. After you do this, you will be presented with the login screen for the VPN.

Although setting up a VPN is quite simple, you will need to do some research into which VPN to use and set up before you begin using it. Different types of VPNs provide you with different benefits, so you need to choose the one that works best for your needs. If you are looking for a VPN for use on public Wi-Fi, you should set up a VPN that offers military-grade encryption or better. When you connect to a VPN that uses weak encryption, your internet activity is easily accessible to hackers and malicious users.

Use A VPN To Browse The Web Privately

Once you have your personal VPN server set up and working, you can use it to access the internet privately and securely. To do this, you simply need to connect to the server with your PC or mobile device (in our case, we will use Chrome on a mobile device).

From a mobile device, open the Google Play Store and search for “Vpn”. You will then see multiple VPN apps in the search results. You can then download and install one of these apps on your mobile device. After installation, you will need to open the app and log in with your email address and password to access the VPN’s interface. Figure 2 shows the interface of the NordVPN app, which we downloaded and installed on our mobile device. You can then click the button to the right of the Google logo to connect to the VPN. You will need to confirm your email address and set a password for the account. After you do this, you will see the Google Play logo at the top of your screen. Once you log in successfully, you will see an orange bar across the top of your screen, which indicates that you are connected to the VPN and that your internet activity is now encrypted. Figure 2. Now that you have a VPN set up successfully on your mobile device, you can use it to surf the web privately and securely from anywhere. To do this, open a new browser tab on your mobile device and enter the URL of a website that you want to visit in the address bar. After you do this, type in the keyword “vpn” followed by the @ symbol. You will then see a list of VPN servers from which you can choose one.

You can also configure your VPN app to automatically connect to a server of your choice whenever you use it. This is known as a Cloud VPN and is often considered the most convenient and secure way to connect to a VPN. When you connect to a Cloud VPN, your PC or mobile device will automatically connect to a server somewhere in the world. This makes it easier to use a VPN because there is no need to manually connect to a server when you use a Cloud VPN. The upside is that, since your PC or mobile device is connected to a server, your internet activity is not completely private. A server can be anywhere in the world, so your activity can be witnessed by people who manage or control the server. In this case, it would be considered trespassing for a third party to access your personal data.

Use A VPN To Access Public Wi-Fi At Coffee Shops, Libraries And Other Public Places

A coffee shop, library or other public place with Wi-Fi is a perfect place for you to use a VPN. When you use a public Wi-Fi network at a coffee shop, library or other place, you are automatically connected to a malicious network because there is no way for the coffee shop, library or other place to know or control who is connected to their network. Once you are connected to a malicious network, you should close the app you are using to access the Wi-Fi and open a new browser tab to search for “free VPN” in your favorite search engine. You will then need to download and install a different VPN on your mobile device or PC. Doing this will ensure that you remain protected and private while on a public network.

Once you have installed and logged into the VPN successfully, you can go back to the original browser tab you were using to access the coffee shop’s Wi-Fi and see an encrypted connection with a green bar across the top. Figure 3 shows the VPN tunneled over Wi-Fi at the Coffee Meets Bagel coffee shop in New York City.

To browse the web privately and securely at coffee shops, libraries, schools and other public places, you can use a VPN provided you have set it up correctly. Setting up a VPN to access public Wi-Fi networks is not difficult, but you must ensure that you choose a VPN that is capable of securely accessing these networks. Most free VPNs are not up to par and cannot be used to access public Wi-Fi networks. Only set up a VPN with the correct credentials to access public Wi-Fi networks.

If you are new to VPNs, it is advised that you avoid using free VPNs that are usually provided by popular internet services like Google or Apple. These free VPNs are usually set up by default to be accessed through specific proxies that the provider uses. If you want a VPN that hides your IP and provides better security, you should avoid using Google’s or Apple’s free VPNs because they are not designed for privacy and security. Some free VPNs can also be set up to be accessed through specific proxies that expose your activity to malicious parties.

Use A VPN To Browse The Web Privately And Securely In The Libary

Since you are already at a library, you might as well use it to your advantage and browse the internet privately and securely. To do this, you simply need to connect to the library’s Wi-Fi network and download and install a VPN app on your mobile device or PC. After installation, you will need to log in with your email address and password to access the VPN’s interface. Figure 4 shows the VPN interface at the Brooklyn library in New York City. You can then click the link to the right of the Google logo to connect to the VPN. You will need to confirm your email address and set a password for the account.
