How to Reset Your Password on Meraki VPN?

In case you are looking to reset your password on your Meraki VPN, then you have come to the right place. In this article, we’ll teach you how to do it step by step so you can get back to using your VPN the way you want to. Let’s get started.

Step 1: Logging Into Your Account

On the login page, you will see a “Forgot password?” link right next to the login button. If you click on this link, you will be taken to a page where you can input your email address and click on the “Send me a new password” button. A message will then be sent to the email address you provided, which will include a verification link.

You can also choose to have a security code sent to your phone. This is especially useful if you are logging into your account on a mobile device because then you will not have to worry about entering your password each time you log in. After you enter your email address and click the “Send me a new password” button, you will then be taken to a secure page that will ask you to set a new password and choose a strong password (at least 8 characters, including at least 1 number, lowercase, and uppercase letters).

To get back to the login page, simply log out of your account and then log back in.

Step 2: Changing Your Password

You will now be presented with a page where you can change your password. If you are not into a complicated password procedure just yet, you can choose to keep the same password as the previous step or you can choose from a list of pre-composed password suggestions. If you choose to use a pre-composed password, you will need to remember to capitalize the first letter of each word (for example, “Password1” will be converted to “pass$word1”).

After you have typed your new password and saved it, you can click the “Remember me” button to have your new password be saved so you do not have to input it each time you log in.

Step 3: Confirming Your Email

An email will now be delivered to the email address you provided. If you did not receive the email, please check your spam folder or promotions folder under “Junk” because it could have been mistakenly labeled as such.

If you did receive the email and want to confirm that you are, in fact, the account owner, you can click on the verification link that was sent to the email address you provided. You will then be taken to a page where you can enter your new password. After you have entered your new password, click on the “Confirm new password” button to continue. Your new password will now be verified and you can return to Step 2.

Step 4: Logging Out

After you have logged in and verified your email, you can click on the “Log out” button to return to the login screen. To prevent memory loss, log out every time you leave the site to which you logged in. If you forget to log out after you have been on any particular page for a while, you will become logged out automatically when you visit that page again. To prevent this from happening, simply log out when you leave the site and then log back in when you return—no need to look for the Logout button, it will already be there!

If you want to change your password on another device or browser, you can use the “Forgot password?” link on that device or browser to get to the login page and follow the same steps listed above. You will need to provide email address and new password on the next page to change your password.
