How to Uninstall NordVPN Linux Command Line

Step 1: Download and Install the Uninstaller

The first thing you need to do is to download and install the uninstaller for NordVPN. To do this, visit their website, click on the button that says Download, and then on the page that appears, click on the button that says Install. Once this is done, you can go back to your original window and close it. You will see a nice blue box with the words NordVPN in the top-right corner. This means that the application is successfully installed and ready to be used.

If you want to uninstall the application completely, click on the box that says NordVPN in the top-right corner, then click on the button that says Uninstall. This will open a new window. In this window, click on the gear icon in the top-right corner to bring up the menu, then select Uninstall from the menu that appears. This will open a third window, which will give you an option to remove all user data associated with the application. Once you confirm this option, the application will be removed from your computer. 

Step 2: Start the Uninstallation Process

The next thing you need to do is to start the uninstallation process for NordVPN. To do this, click on the box that says NordVPN in the top-right corner, then click on the button that says Uninstall. This will open a fourth window, which will give you an option to start the uninstallation process. When you click on this option, the fifth window will appear, which will show you a process that is removing the application. This could take a while, so be patient.

Once the process is finished, you will see a message at the top-right corner of your screen that tells you that the uninstaller completed successfully. You can now close the fourth window and continue using your computer as usual.

Step 3: Disable & Reenable the VPN For Your Computer

The last step of the process is to disable & re-enable the VPN for your computer. This can be useful if you have a certain VPN client that you always use and don’t want to remove it. To disable the VPN, follow these steps:

  • Go to My Computer.
  • Right-click on the network icon in the top-right corner of your screen and then select Properties from the menu that appears.
  • Click on the Internet Settings button, then the Properties button, which will bring up a window.
  • Go to the Properties of the VPN connection and then to the Settings tab.
  • Click on the Connection drop-down menu and choose Disconnect from the list of options.

Once the VPN is disconnected, you can close the properties window and go back to your original window. You can enable the VPN by following these same steps, with the exception of choosing Connect instead of Disconnect from the Connection menu. If you have more than one VPN connection, you can select the one you want to use from the list before enabling it.
